Setting Up Your DNS Records
After clicking “Go Live” on your dashboard, you’ll need to point your domain to your new server. Here’s how to get your IP address and update your DNS records.
Getting Your IP Address
- Click the “View DNS” button on your directory card
- Copy the IP address shown
- Keep this handy - you’ll need it for the next steps
Updating DNS Records by Provider
GoDaddy
- Log into your GoDaddy account
- Go to My Products > DNS
- Find your domain and click Manage
- Look for the A Record with “@” or your domain name
- Click the pencil icon to edit
- Replace the old IP with your new IP address
- Click Save
Changes take 1-24 hours to work everywhere.
Cloudflare
- Log into Cloudflare
- Select your domain from the list
- Click the DNS tab
- Find the A Record pointing to your domain
- Click Edit
- Update the IPv4 address field with your new IP
- Click Save
Updates usually happen within minutes.
Namecheap
- Sign into your Namecheap account
- Go to Domain List and click Manage next to your domain
- Click Advanced DNS
- Find the A Record with “@” as the host
- Click the edit icon
- Change the value to your new IP address
- Click the green checkmark to save
Your site should be live within 30 minutes to 24 hours.
Other Providers

If your site isn’t working after 24 hours, double-check that you copied the IP address correctly from your dashboard.
